Well.. we were quite successful with local fans.. could any Hollywood actor had done better??..

High Street, peak time.. walking avoiding people, motorbikes, sellers and the spare cobra on the side of the road..
il corso, ora di punta.. camminando, evitando la gente, le moto, i venditori e qui e la qualche cobra al bordo della strada..

e come ogni festa che si rispetti.. le giostre!!.. son andate avanti tutta la notte!... come hanno fatto a non far volare via neanche una cabina e` un mistero..

veduta dall`altro tempio sulla collina (l`altra collina).. tempio dedicato alla moglie di Brahma, quella incazzusa che gli ha lanciato una maledizione per cui Brahma sarebbe stato dimenticato da tutte le genti del mondo.. poi e` stata convinta ad allegerire la maledizione, cosi` che a Brahma puo` essere dedicato un solo tempio nel mondo, quello di Pushkar.. ah, perche` era incazzata??.. be`, a una celebrazione e` arrivata un po` tardi e Brahma nel frattempo, stanco di aspettare, ha preso altra moglie (quella dell`altro tempio sull`altra collina) e cosi` ha potuto riempire il trono accanto al suo e iniziare le celebrazioni.. quindi, non fate aspettare Brahma, ma soprattutto, non fate incazzare Saraswati!!!

why only Ami and Gianni bothered to put the shoes in the shoe rack??..

Then here starts the Gran Finale of the Festival.. thousand of people in the stadium waiting for the show... Ami got selected for the foreigner division of Tugs of War (Tiro alla Fune) .. Locals won, just because they kept adding people and people :) :) but THEY WON!!.. :)

Sitting with local women.. Gianni got worried when the police started to chase the local guys away from the zone reserved to women.. but then realized the long hair did confuse the policemen.. then found safer to move to the foreigner area :)

..VVIP??.. this was the zone reserved to the local community.. the foreigners were in a reserved area with slightly lower density.. but fair enough, the locals kept pouring into the foreigner area jumping off the back wall, just for the police to slap them away every 20 minutes.. like a constant precise tide..
VVIP??.. questa era la zona riservata ai locali.. gli stranieri avevano una zona riservata un po` meno popolata!.. ma almeno i locali continuavano a riversarsi costanti nell ` area "ospiti", saltando il muro di cinta.. solo per essere schiaffeggiati via dalla polizia ogni 20 minuti.. una marea precisa nel suo ciclo..

Corsa dei Cammelli.. impazziti, non si capiva ne` dov`era il tracciato e dopo un po` neanche il verso in cui si gira!! :)
Camel Race.. they just went crazy, you couldn`t work out the track line and after a while not even the right direction!!
